This class is both for new and long time meditators and practitioners; no previous experience is needed or expected. Everybody is welcomed just as they are.
Please join Julie MacAdam for an opportunity to attend and befriend yourself through self-observation; a practice that unveils our natural goodness and tenderness. Such mindfulness, both on and off the cushion, has great potentiality to transform the challenges and sufferings innate to human existence. All that will be offered is for you to give a fair try to and personally access whether or not it is of benefit.
Classes will begin with the practice of Yoga Nidra to settle into the space; a few simple postures to prepare the body for meditation; teachings on meditation (different each week) and an opportunity to practice. There will be at least 30 minutes of seated meditation, if not more, and time for sharing at the end.
