Reiki II Certification Program

Reiki Masters, Jackie and Ellia, will weave an energy web to learn the ancient art of Reiki medicine spiced up with their backgrounds in shamanism, mental health and mindfulness. In Reiki II you will deepen your knowledge from Reiki I, learn Reiki II symbols and how to use them, receive Reiki II attunement, create your own Reiki ritual, learn distant healing and more. There will be a great deal of experiential learning and practice in both Reiki I and Reiki II and the expectation to practice at home with other humans and animals. These classes are healing journeys with nature and by engaging  in this Reiki path we bring more healing to ourselves and our loved ones, finding a deeper connection to self, nature and the word. Please join us on this healing journey!

Jackie Jones has been learning about and practicing energy medicine since the mid 1980’s and began her official reiki training in 2012.  Jackie acquired her Master Reiki certification in 2015, which lead to her recent certification as a Shamanic Practitioner.  She has been able to use these energy healing methods while assisting in community mental health wellness programs, where she has helped to bring alternative healing practices to people who would not normally have access. Additionally, licensed as a Mental Health Counselor she utilizes traditional psychotherapeutic methods to manage a program in emergency services. Jackie finds with her few private clients that combining traditional and energetic healing practices can more fluidly assist individuals to move through life challenges and energy blocks than just traditional practices.

Ellia Cohen, LICSW is a founder of the Wellness Collaborative of WCMHS and is currently the School Social Worker at Montpelier High School. Ellia first found the healing power of reiki while traveling in the Himalaya mountains of India. Ellia has been a Reiki Master Teacher since 2003 and has since been dedicated to a holistic approach to health and wellness, supporting individuals through the stresses of daily life. Both in her individual counseling and group facilitation, mindfulness based therapy and practice is interwoven into the fabric of her therapeutic approach and way of life.  She uses other holistic modalities, including herbalism and psychotherapeutic reiki, as a means for supporting individuals to be more empowered and self-sufficient through learning self-care, stress reduction techniques, and wellness based therapies. She offers tools for healing into wholeness so that people may authentically achieve their highest potential and thrive in their lives.
